If I haven't made it obvious enough yet, my favorite place to shop would be J. Crew. Shopping in general is a wonderful happy activity to do. J. Crew may be my favorite place, but I also have a few other places that I like to do my browsing. Bloomingdales and Saks (aka the Mother Ship) of course.
My favorite part of shopping is when I am shopping for something specific, like a dress. I spend most of my day shuffling down every isle of the store, touching every hanger, until finally I find the dress that was meant for me. It's in my size and I can't wait to try it on. In the dressing room, I slip into the dress... When its the perfect fit I have to do a little twirl in front of the mirror. I can't help but smile because I have found the dress for me.
Another scenario of shopping that I like is:
I'm online shopping and I found the best dress and it's in my size. Then I go to the store and find it in the right color and size. I hold my prize in my hand and take it back to the dressing room to try it on. But then all of the sudden... It doesn't fit or the dress just looks better on the hanger. So what do I have to do? SHUFFLE. And after shuffling, I find a dress that is just as good as the dress that I had found online. I try that dress on and it look way better than the previous dress. The dress is the perfect color and the perfect fit. So (my point is) sometimes you may find the perfect dress whether you are walking through a store and find a pretty dress on a pretty hanger or your online shopping, but it turns out it wasn't perfect. Don't give up!! Go out there and shuffle or scroll your mouse more! A mistake could always lead to the dress you were meant to be with all along. Struggling while shopping can be very annoying, but I love the feeling of after searching for that piece of clothing for so long and you finally find it. Its like finding hidden treasure.
And when you have made your purchase, I always enjoy carrying around my shopping bag, it makes me feel cool. Having the Saks or J.Crew bag hang from my arm, in my hand I have a coffee or a fancy water bottle, and on my shoulder my cutest purse, I like to pretend that I am a celebrity, ready for her close up for People Magazine (Lol). I like to make my shopping experience in my mind fun!
Whenever I buy a piece of clothing or shoe, the minute I get home I have to try it on. I have to make sure it still fits, so then I can take the tags off. And if it fits, the tags come off, and I put on whatever I bought and I will wear it for the rest of the day. Wearing new clothes is so much fun to me. Its a new look and its always fun to wear something that no one has seen on you.

Fashion Look: Emma Stone

| Emma Stone |
What I like about Emma Stone is her pale skin against a strong cherry red. Her complexion with the red is absolutely yummy.
In most tabloids that I have seen Emma in, she always seem put together in her style. From her hairstyle, to her bag, to her shoes Emma Stone (I think) kind of has a J. Crew flair to it. And if you know me personally, you'd know that I am a J. Crew maniac.

| The Help T-Dress |
I am going to jump back to the Help. I know that the Help is set in the 1960s, but some of the dresses Skeeter (Emma Stone), wears in the movie could actually be cute to wear today. One of my favorite dresses that Skeeter wears, I think she wears this type of dress a lot through out the movie, is the dress with the button up collar that is sleeveless. I would wear that today, also in the movie she has belted the shirt with a skinny belt which is another great look. It's kind of like the "t-shirt" dress but with a fuller skirt. Another dress Emma is an orangey-red dress. Again, a wonderful color on Emma.

Emma Stone is one of my favorite Ccelebrities. She is pretty, talented and kindhearted. And just look at her boyfriend, Andrew Garfield is absolutely yummy!

Fashion Look: The Starlet
I am so excited to be blogging about a very good friend of mine. Victoria and I have been friends ever since we were little. Victoria is an actress and its great to watch her grow as a very talented person. I have had a few chances to style Victoria.
Recently, my mom and I got the chance to style Victoria for a premiere she attended for a friend. The attire for this event was what I would say a casual-dressy. Victoria picked out a nude, kind of a dark nude, and black up and down zig-zag striped, spaghetti strapped dress. Her dress was pretty much like a long dress that would go perfect with the beach. But Victoria and I took the beach look to a "night-out" dress. We decided to go with a pair of the Jessica Simpson nude heals. The dress was originally kiss the floor length, but with the heels the dress is raised to a flattering height were the heels peak out from the dress.
Because the dress was spaghetti straps we felt the need to kind of cover up the skin Victoria was showing, since the evening was a professional occasion. First we decided on a gray long in the front, short in the back cardigan. Unfortunately we couldn't find the perfect cardigan. We decided to go with a skinny, long, shimmery silver-gray scarf with it looped once around her neck. The part of the scarf that hung on her back was long, while the front part was a little bit shorter than the back. For accessories we put skinny silver bangles that are connected into one bracelet first and then in front of the bangle bracelet we put a big silver bracelet. Because Victoria already had a necklace and her hair is a gorgeous accessory she already has, we didn't add any dramatic necklaces or earrings because she decided to wear her hair down.
Victoria looked stunning for her event. I think the look overall is a fun evening casual look. Also a good example of a dress transition from summer to fall. The summer is represented by the maxi dress and the winter is expressed by the scarf.
